What Is It?

Battle Code is a scannable QR code embedded within select scenarios in your BattlegroundHD rule set. When scanned during gameplay, it delivers scenario-specific content directly to the player—anything from random events, unit outcomes, to dynamic battlefield conditions.

Example: We Led the Way – The Beach Landing

In the We Led the Way scenario, U.S. Rangers make a daring landing at Gela, Sicily. When a landing craft is placed on the table, the player scans a Battle Code. The result tells them what happened en route to the beach—perhaps the craft was damaged by artillery, delayed, or veered off course. It also provides its exact placement and any special conditions it suffers from. This mechanic makes every landing unique, captures the chaos of amphibious assaults, and adds realism—all with a simple scan.
